There may be someone at CMU who remembers that at the time that Abby Silver floated a storyline about an anonymous rape victim, Andrea Swimmer showed up and a lookalike of Dia Galas was striding carousing the campus in a shirt, “The Persistence of Memory.” At this time, the trauma of goop was in many layers in my brutalized psyche. Naturally, I would make the intuitive connection that if Swimmer was come looking for me, the Pitmans wouldn’t be far behind and I was in trauma about it. Soon they had me locked in a house from the inside with assassins from Salk Labs and Warhol.
