The decision to pull down the statue of Woodrow Wilson made by Princeton University under pressure of the street protests caused by Black Lives Matters during the Covid-19 tragedy proves that BLM is a movement that is doomed to implode. If the decision were an honest one it would be possible to support. The ideological dishonesty involved is what makes it almost an act of violence. The puffery of BLM is like Carole King’s Smackwater Jack, you can’t talk to a man when he don’t want to understand. It makes me uneasy to advocate for a toxic act of removal even though Wilson is clearly guilty as charged. I also know the facts, which the decision to remove Wilson’s statue doesn’t bother around about.
Wilson was a compromised white gentleman under the influence of the Atlanta Compromise and his friend Booker T. Washington, much as what was expected of him. A lot of black people are compromising themselves right now in this movement in ways that more enlightened black people in the future may question someday, but the standard involved actually puts the bar very clearly as analogous to Dexter King. King’s son fights legal battles scornfully for intellectual property and personal gain that his father saw no use for and arguably preached entirely against, but again this is a compromised position expected of the modern black celebrity man.
The issue however becomes dishonest twice. First, Wilson advocated for peace between nations, not domination. His idea of Peace Without Victory in WW1 to end the bloodshed was particularly keen to the NAACP and Crisis Magazine spoke up for him, noting his racist tendencies. They drew a political cartoon of the scales of justice and found that the balance was in his favor. For that reason alone the decision to raze the statue could be rationally challenged. It is second guessing the NAACP of his time.
This generation has done a bad job of assessing our own times, so our judgment concerning the past can be reasonably questioned. But the NAACP is not a sacred institution that cannot be wrong or should be held infallible. Arguably their scorn for Martin Luther King over the Vietnam War was due to his being closer in spirit to Wilson’s desire for peace. King believed that a just peace was victory so did Wilson. He was the type who would have been swayed by today’s climate of learning, not intransigent and belligerent in the manner of the Black Lives Matters deception wing of the Green Party program. Blacks have not conspicuously gone around murdering politicians but the Green Party have and when Blacks start doing it, too, Germany will own us.
It was an era in which Marcus Garvey was meeting in friendship with the Ku Klux Klan to bond and agree on racial separatism much as Louis Farrakhan does today which is easily as sick. But nothing Trumps the way Obama took to Trump’s trumped-up charges about a one night stand with an Indian woman who seduced the Green Party prey (a white, A WHITE!!!) for Neva Corporation pornographic production rights in the Bollywood bragging rights of UW Sociology over the AIDS attack by foreign powers, Obama’s Two Virgins Pussyball fight club over Midori Goto, an Israeli screed calling America the enemy within that took the expression of Saoirse Kennedy’s murder. The whole time Obama was performing military voodoo for Bush, he was advocating for a child molester ring in Pittsburgh run by the area KKK. He thought it was holy war, revenge for the black man, ugly German swastikas a sacred African symbol. They called it Operation Kasper and it traces to Mt. Desert Island, Salk Labs and WQED. That Mr. Obama sure is a mature one, he got a first-rate high school education at Harvard.
You will notice that Greta Thunberg all but cheered the landing of German troops from the Green Party with the covid bomb attack. For her it is a great day. I know for a fact that UW Sociology was in on the covid attack because during the lead up their Tang Phenomenon poisoned me in the mouth and bragged about it, laughed about it, in their classroom. Either go with the Greens, they sneered, or the world will be ash. Calling Black fascism by its name isn’t white racism, it’s Richard Wright.
The worst of it of course is in understanding the way in which he was factually racist and how that fact about Wilson in reality gave momentum, power and rise to Black Lives Matters and that matters, too. Wilson cravenly spoke up for the evil masterpiece Birth of a Nation. The film-makers behind it were in on Reagan’s World War Two films. The entire decision making progress of the NAACP to back strength, to use violence on innocent people because they symbolize white indifference, to create fear and lie and cheat just to win, comes from Reagan’s cronies like Colin Powell who found King’s non-violence insufferable.
The writings I do of course are alone in that I know that this Black Lives Matters diversion is to cut off the facts about how the Green Party, which has a large, powerful Black Power Movement inside its cartel worked with the Axis Powers to avenge their defeat, lied about AIDS and have hit us with Covid, to which Geo. Floyd was martyred, not to race, and they want the strong in the Black community to use brutality to force change.
Under those terms the persons who would be most pleased by Princeton’s decision or capitulation without a doubt would be the Germans.
